MS EMBC Specializations

NJIT's MS EMBC is a highly interdisciplinary degree designed to enhance critical skills and knowledge among private and public sector professionals working in the area of emergency management and business continuity. These professionals have to plan for, react well during, and afterwards analyze situations concerning "business not as usual" within corporations, governmental agencies and non-governmental organizations.

• Learning Beyond the Classroom: Internships, Co-ops and Research Opportunities

     As a stepping stone to the full MSIS degree, you may do a 4-course Graduate Certificate. Then you can apply to the regular MS Program in your final semester of classes. All four courses will count fully towards your MS degree.

• Graduate Certificate Option

   Qualified holders of 3-Year bachelor degrees from overseas colleges are encouraged to consider our bridge option.  If you do well in your bridge courses and obtain a satisfactory score on the GRE after completing them, you can continue on to the full MS degree.
